Cherokee Style Raised Dog Feeder made from a reclaimed barn wood and channel steel legs. This feeder features insets into the reclaimed barn board for two XL Rae Dunn ceramic bowls (These are the larger 8 inch bowls, not the standard 6) which are included. Legs feature non slip rubber feet. It offers an 6 inch eating height and is perfect for a medium sized dog with a large appetite!

The reclaimed barn beam was lightly sanded and wire brushed. Softer or decayed sections of the wood were stabilized with epoxy and sanded. The feeder was finished with a food safe dewaxed shellac and then received 4 coats of food safe lacquer to be able to hold up to the rigors of even the sloppiest of eaters and drinkers!

The feeder measures at 20 inches long, 10 inches wide and is 4.5 inches to the top of the feeder and 7.5 inches to the top of the bowl. It has a shipping weight of over 15 lbs. Shipping Included in price!

To know if this is a good fit for your dog please measure their height at the top of the shoulders and at their front elbows. A good eating height is somewhere close to the middle of those measurements.

We all need a little rescuing! Our family rescued two doodles and I started to make them their feeders, leashes and collars to show them how special they were. I am not a master carpenter... just a guy that likes to make super nice things and that thinks that slight imperfections add character and tell a story. To my surprise I received tons of requests from friends, family and social media, so I decided to turn this passion into a cause. Sticking with the rescue theme, I source wood from a local lumber rescue as well!
